The Boots that Writing Bought

I don’t recall if I mentioned it but for a few months I was saving writing money to buy new boots.

Look what writing bought me:

20 Black Doc Marten Boots

If you know me, you know that I am a bit of a boot queen. I love boots and already have an oxblood pair of this style of boot but being the Old Goth I am, I had to have black ones.

What amazes me is that writing paid for them.

After my data loss (I am STILL recovering stuff) I have been feeling some type of way. Discouraged. Anxious with extra anxiety from other stuff happening in life.

One of my side hustles is done. No more Amazon affiliate links. Apparently I missed some notification and my account was summarily closed never to be opened again.

Another I haven’t been able to get up and running yet while I’ve been dealing with computer fuckery.

It’s exhausting.

But then, I remember doing what I do got me warm dry boots.

What else?

I have some really awesome new work coming out in the New Year. I think at the end of the year I’m going to do a year end post about how my submission/publication ideas have shifted so it’ll be a while until I post another 100 rejections list.

I’ll be redesigning/launching my author site in 2016.

New SCLAB is coming out.

Lots to do and not enough hours in the day.

That said, stay tuned for some new things. As always you can come check out my sidebar if you’ve got cash burnin a hole in your pocket.

That’s all for now y’all.
